Lee and Danny:
Thank
you very much for the experience we had
over there the past week. It is really a
lifetime experience and an amazing
environment to be in.
Your kindness and excellent hosting
were impeccable and a very important
thing for us in this trip. Also getting
to know such amazing people like Felix,
Cade, Nick, and all the amazing people
we got to know in our stay there.
Being such inexperienced fishers
(that's a very nice way to say that "we
suck at fishing"), and learning from
you, (and also cursing at each other
between us 3, which made the experience
more enjoyable). made those days
unforgettable. And the landscapes....
what a paradise.
And what can I say about Lee, what an
outstanding hostess. Just to thank her
would not make her justice. So all our
love to her. And your
cooking....amazing. "Que amor de mujer!!!!,
muchas gracias".
So speaking on behalf of us three,
Thank you very much for your attentions,
your patience (those scaring bear
Tourists!!!!), and your kindness. We
hope we can go back there soon.

Lee
and Danny,
What a fabulous place you
have! Jack and I had such a wonderful
vacation at your lodge. He arrived back
in Oklahoma City with a high fever and
what I think is a case of bronchitis,
yet I can hear him on the phone telling
his doctor all about our great fishing
trip and the 45 large sockeye salmon he
caught. You are two amazing individuals
and I'm in awe of all you do to run your
lodge.
It goes without saying that fly
fishing was the treat of a lifetime. And
your cooking, Lee, was unbelievable. Our
guides were two of the best, and our
accommodations were perfect. In all my
years of traveling around the globe, I
have to admit that this was the first
time an owner ever drew my bath. It's
obvious that your goal is to please and
to provide a memorable fishing trip, and
you more than exceeded out expectations.
We're anxious to plan a return visit.
Lee, I'm really going to miss you and
our chats. Have a wonderful trip to
Cuba. I only hope you find a resort
where you will be pampered like we were.
Thanks from both of us.

I
just wanted to send you a huge thank
you to you and Dan. It was a
wonderful trip. Great food, great
fishing, great company, and a
beautiful river. I appreciate you
being so understanding about David.
He is really wishing he would have
sucked it up, especially after
seeing the photos! We do plan on
coming back. Both of you are special
people to welcome strangers into
your home every day and make us feel
like old friends. How about adding
to your Emergency Response Vehicle
... Ready to take you to your Pitt
River adventure.
Thanks again!

Hello
Lee,
I just wanted to write and thank you
again for your hospitality while Skip
and I were there. It was truly a
wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly
and kind. I hope all is well with you
and Danny and you are getting a little
break as you expected. I hope to be
contacting you soon to book for next
year. A number of people are getting
excited in Boise as I pass around
fishing reports so maybe it will result
in even more business.
Take care and thank you again.
Alex
Thanks
Lee,Now that we are back down under I
just wanted to send you both a thank you
note for the wonderful time we had at
your lodge. Thanks for all your hard
work and for providing such a great
atmosphere. I suspect we will be back
sooner rather than later. Please let Dan
know my fish spotting skills have
improved!!!!!

I wanted to
say again how much I enjoyed my time there.
I wish I could have stayed longer as you
were such gracious hosts. The
food
was fantastic, if not a bit excessive, and
your personality was very welcoming and
endearing.
I really
hope I will be able to get back up to visit
and fish again-maybe during a different
species run. And I will be sharing your
lodge with as many people as I can.
Until then,
warmest regards

Hey Guys
We had an
awesome time - huge thanks - mainly made by
the great way we were all looked after -
first class! Every thing was
beautifully organized as we could possibly
have hoped - brilliant.
Lets stay
in touch - I would love to hear how the
fishing goes for the rest of the year.
Have fun.
Best wishes, Alex.

Danny
and Lee,
I just wanted to send a long a note of
thanks regarding a recent trip
Bob Bell and I took to your lodge.
We had a wonderful time on the Pitt River
(and Corbold Creek) thanks to you and your
staff!
I have been to many U.S. (and abroad) fly
fishing lodges/destinations
and Pitt River Lodge is now one of my
favorite places to visit.
Everything from the appetizers, to dinner,
to the hospitality of the
staff was fantastic.
I
could not have asked for a better fishing
and lodging experience. I am already
thinking about when I can make it back. You
really make everyone feel at home.
Sincerely, Chris Bean
Lee/Dan,
Truly enjoyed our visit last week. Beautiful
facility, excellent staff. Brad and I want
to be kept informed on your newer lodge, so
update us every now and then.

Hi
Lee and Danny!
Just a few words from the Danish school
teachers as a big "thank you" for an
unforgettable stay at your magnificent
lodge. We enjoyed the cozy cabin very much,
and were stunned by the surroundings (once
it stopped raining...). Great hospitality,
lazy black bears and big Coho's on the fly
all in all made a huge impression. Wish we
were there... And thank you for your
courageous environmental struggle.
All the best from Thorbjoern and Eigil

Thanks for the note, Lee. The pleasure was
all ours! Lou and I had an easy trip home
and are already talking about trying to get
back up to see you and Dan in the Fall. You
are both very special people. Your warm
hospitality and Dan's extra effort to find
some fish for us, under tough conditions,
will always be remembered and appreciated.
I've got a couple of photos, of our trip,
that you might enjoy. You can decide if they
deserve entry into your contest. If they're
of any value for your web-site, or anywhere
else, you're welcome to use 'em. Thanks
again, on behalf of Lou and Norm, for a
great time! You both deserve all the best
and we wish you a very successful future in
the lodge. Take care and hope to see you
again soon. Jim.
P.S. The "boot camp" was a piece of
cake...tell Dan I'll do a little practicing
on my "log-walking" before we come back up!

Dan and Lee,
Just wanted to write a quick note to say
Thanks for the spectacular time at the Pitt
River Lodge. You run and awesome operation
and thanks for adjusting to the last minute
accommodations for my Father. He had a great
time as well, and I am sure he has been
telling all of partners about the great trip
on the Pitt River.
Again, the fishing was a blast, the guide
(Nick) was great, the lodge was awesome, and
the meals were the best I have had since my
own mother has cooked for me. The trip to
the lodge was the highlight of my trip on
the west coast and was one of the most
incredible trips of my life. Thanks for
taking care of me. I look forward to being
your first repeat military customer.
Also, please tell Trevor that it was a great
time fishing with him, and thanks for all
the fishing tips. He is going to be one hell
of a guide.

Lee/Dan.... On behalf of Scott, Mark, Pat
and myself, we would like to thank you very
much for your hospitality and sharing your
little piece of paradise.
It was a real pleasure having some quality
time with our clients. The food was
tremendous, facilities where great and Dan
and yourself company was fantastic.
Again, thanks for your personal attention
and hope to do this event again. I know Pat
did say he was attempting to do something in
the fall on a personal
level.
The Very Best of Luck from all of us.

Thank you & Danny so much for the wonderful
weekend! If you couldn't tell, everyone had
a great time and the whole experience just
blew them all away! I also wanted to tell
you how impressed we all were with Felix,
Adam, & Nick. They looked after everyone so
well, and were all so quick to pickup on
each individuals needs. They really helped
make the trip an experience none of these
guys will ever forget, and will no doubt
become folklore in

They all thought it was "fintastic". The food was exceptional, the hosts were better, the weather and the time of year put the lodge into a postcard which will be etched in their minds for many years to come. Danny and Lee--Thanks again for a GREAT three days on the Pitt! The river is beautiful and great fun to fish, even when Nick leads you through forests of Devil's Club to get there! The fishing was outstanding, bulltrout to 6Ibs consistantly, cutthroat and steelhead all taken on a fly in waters a flyfisherman can usually only dream to fish, and sufficient space that other guests were not encountered during the course of the day. We will be returning to sample the fall coho fishery and the summer trout dryfly fishing.

I was just up at the lodge in March. Had some of the best fishing I have ever had. Lots of Dolly Varden, Bull Trout, Rainbows plus a really nice Cutthroat. All the fish are of good size & crome. Danny & Lee are great hosts. I can't wait to get back up there.

Hi.Found your site through anglers atlas. Had a thourough look thru and have enjoyed your info. Saw the Upper Pitt for the first time a while ago on Sportfishing BC. Looks like the fisherman's paradise!! Hopefully I will be able to see it first hand one of these days. Question: can you access the lodge by jet boat?

I spent the weekend on the river last August 17-19...Wow wee! The fishing was a lifetime of memories packed into every sockeye. The fish were awesome, country was beautiful, and Danny and Lee make you feel as if you are part of the family... I've fished all over the US and for the past twenty five years and this past trip ranks in the top ten of best all time. If you are thinking of going to the lodge...go!!! I'll see you in November for the Coho!

I took my thirteen year old grandson fly fishing at Pitt River Lodge. We had great fishing and Danny knew all the good places to find fish. The accomodations at the lodge were very comfortable and the food was excellent. We felt like special guests in someone home. Danny and Lee did everything possible to make the trip enjoyable for me and my grandson. He and I are ready to go back next year.

Dan & Lee,
Thanks again for the great three day weekend. I'd heard all about the Pitt River from my fishing buddies up in Vancouver and it lived up to the high praise and then some. We landed dozens of Bull Trout, Dollies, Cutthroat and Rainbow. We also hooked a couple nice Steelhead, but they ended up winning the fight (long line release). Cindy and I appreciated all the hospitality and local knowledge. Even the drives back and forth to fish every day proved to be exciting. It seemed like every corner we drove around Danny pointed out a bear or had a story to share about the local lore. Everything felt like we were in SE Alaska, except it only took 3 hours to get to the boat from Seattle! Great cabins too. What a great way to spend a couple of days without traveling a long distance or breaking the bank. I'll be back soon.
Sincerely, Kris Solvang

I have had the opportunity to fish many rivers in British Columbia. The Pitt River is becoming one of my favourites and has earned a special place in my heart. Part of what makes it so special is the diverse species of fish. On the right day you can catch rainbows, bulls, cutthroat, steelhead and salmon. What more could you want? This is one of the last remaining rivers in Vancouver's Lower Mainland that has not been destroyed by development and industry. It is like going back in time. Thanks for the great memories Danny & Lee

Danny and Lee:
Thank-you for an unforgettable weekend of superb fly-fishing, breath-taking scenery and fantastic food and company. I caught and released many big, strong bull trout and landed the largest most beautiful rainbow trout of my life. This big, wild 'bow caught some big air with a tremendous leap followed by a long, pulse-quickening run across a lovely rolling pool of clear water. Surrounded by mountains, bald eagles and the distant calls of migrating geese, it'll be some time before I stop day-dreaming about that one! Danny's an expert guide, Lee's a terrific cook and host. What more can I say? I'll be back!

Thanks to the folks at Pitt River Lodge, another stunning day in this wilderness paradise that puts meaning to the phrase "more fish than you can shake a stick at". Our little team caught and released countless Dolly Varden and Bull Trout to 5 pounds, hooked a Steelhead which broke off after a spectacular run and watched Danny catch a couple of fat Rainbow Trout that had beautiful spotting and coloring. And all this just miles away from downtown Vancouver. Its days like this that will keep us coming back time and time again.

I have fished most of the upper northwest including British Columbia. I traveled from Arizona along with my uncle from California to the Pitt River Lodge in BC. The fishing and surrounding mountains were awe-inspiring. We caught Salmon 12-15 lbs, Steelhead 10-12 lbs, Rainbow trout and Dolly varden. I had a few salmon that actually tired me out trying to land them. The owners of the Lodge, Dan and Lee Gerak are wonderful hosts and Dan is a tremendous guide. We enjoyed the fishing and accomodations so well we have already planned our trip for next year. Anyone who is an avid stream fisherman will experience a trip you will remember for a lifetime.
